Мало кто знает, что фантастический полет на Марс гениальный Сергей Павлович Королев задумал еще в конце 20-х, работал над проектом всю свою жизнь, создав ракету, готовую отправиться на красную планету
Популярную в 60-х песню «И на Марсе будут яблони цвести» распевала вся страна, встречая космонавтов и провожая на орбиту корабли. Никто и не догадывался, что в 1969 году этот полет мог стать реальностью.
Мог, но не стал. Почему ракета была построена, а полет не состоялся? Почему так и не осуществилась мечта Сергея Павловича Королева? Почему сегодня звучит сенсационное заявление: «К 2030 году мы будем на Марсе?»

First on Mars. The Unsung Song of Sergey Korolyov.
There a few of those who suspect that the fantastic spaceflight to Mars was planned by genial Sergey Pavlovich Korolyov as long ago as in the late 20s. He was working over this project during all his life and finally created a rocket ready to make it for the Red Planet.

The track «And Apple-Trees Will Once Blossom on Mars», popular throughout 60s, was sung every now and then around the country when welcoming and seeing off spacecrafts to the orbit. Nobody then had a clue that in 1969 this flight might have become true.
Though it never did. Why did not the flight take place, though the rocket had been constructed? Why did not Korolyov’s dream come true? Why can we hear a sensational announcement boasting: «By 2030 we will have reached Mars»?

Il y a peu de ceux qui savent que le vol fantastique vers Mars le génial Sergeï Pavlovitch Koroliov a projeté au bout des 20es années en travaillant à ce but de toute sa vie. Enfin il a créé une fusée susceptible de se rendre à la Planète Rouge.

La chanson populaire lors des années 60s «Et sur Mars les Pommiers Fleuriront» était chantée parmi au pays quand on rencontrait et accompagnait les astronefs à l’orbite. Personne ne se doutait alors qu’en 1969 tel vol pouvait se réaliser en effet.

Mais pas reussi. Pourquoi la fusée était-elle construite, pendant que le vol n’a jamais eu lieu? Pourquoi se fait-il que le rêve de Sergeï Pavlovitch Koroliov ne s’est pas réalisé? Pourquoi peut-on entendre aujourd’hui les déclarations sensationnelles: «Vers 2030 nous atteindrons Mars»?
